Rather than retelling the book scene by scene, the album captures its atmosphere: ancient ruins, buried history, forbidden discovery, isolation, obsession, and the crushing realization that some places were never meant to be found.
Built around thick Orange Crush Pro 120 guitar fuzz, vintage Kimball Paradise organ, melodic bass, natural drums, weathered male vocals, and restrained haunting violin, the record moves like a descent beneath the desert. Each track represents a different stage of the journey, from the first pull of discovery to the final weight of what survives.
